Harvey Nriapia writes and edits newsletters on economics for the Financial Times in London, after having joined the paper as an intern in 2023. He also volunteers as Newsletter Editor at the Royal Economic Society. He previously worked for NewsGuard, a New York-based start-up countering misinformation online.

He graduated with a degree in economics from University College London in 2023. While at UCL, he was Features Editor at Pi Media and Economics Editor at the Economic Tribune. The Tribune won the Best Specialist Publication award at the Student Publication Awards 22/23 under his leadership. He also regularly interviewed chiefs at top investment banks for UCL Investment Society to audiences of hundreds.
